We are a group of PhD students from University of California Santa Barbara. We came together over our interest in interdisciplinary education and research, and a class project leading to this website. As we developed this website we learned more about each other and how our disciplines overlap, giving us the interdisciplinary experience we are advocating for.
Andy is studying vertebrate paleontology. He is primarily interested in the phylogeny and paleoecology of South American native ungulates.
Rachel is a first year PhD student interested hydrology, climate change, and how different natural processes affect urban environments. She also works on Visualizing Environmental Models as a crossroads fellow.
William's research interests broadly include hydrology, water resources, climate change impacts, and modeling methods. He also works on Visualizing Environmental Models as a crossroads fellow.
Ehsan works on modeling 3D environments from limited information for VR experiences. He also works on Visualizing Environmental Models as a crossroads fellow.
